Hike to Tungnath temple (3.5 km) - transfer to Auli (100 km, 4 hours)
  • Get up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast at hotel and get ready for today's adventurous trek to Tungnath temple You will take a 3.
  • 5 km hike from Chopta to Tungnath temple, after trekking for straight 3 to 4 hours explore the nearby places and seek blessings at the shrine of Tungnath, an incarnation of Lord Shiva If time allows you you can also trek to Chandrashila peak to get the maximum vibrant views of the majestic Himalayas Nearby Chandrashila peak, visit other tourist attractions like Nanda Devi and descend to Chopta before evening and backup your luggage and check out from the hotel in Chopta Drive to words Auli/Joshimath nearby Joshimath via Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary and check in at the hotel on arrival Enjoy your dinner at the hotel and stay for the night in Auli or Joshimath.
